“The magic of the world you made. The Bertram man answers the call to Adventure without thinking once. It's natural. He's ready...ready with a perfect piece of craftsmanship, sea-christened, gentle yet eager, beautiful in a worldly way, solid and secure to the feel. It's this kind of a world that waits upon you. Be a Bertram man. Taste the sun...touch the stars...talk to the wind...rule the waves. You can do it in a Bertram. As with no other."

~quote from original Bertram 25 Catalog

The history of Bertram is the history of sport fishing. When it is laid out from its beginning to the present, it reveals a passion for the sport, a legacy of innovation and a dedication to the finest details of design and engineering. Above all it is about the will to produce a craft that makes its builders and owners proud

In 1963, Bertram introduced the 25 as a little brother to the already famous Bertram 31. These vintage Sportfishermen are prized around the world for their outstanding durability. Already there are several companies devoted simply to restoring or renovating these timeless classic boats. In fact there is one company whose entire business is exclusively reworking specifically the Bertram 25s. These boats are timeless classics which will be with us forever. All Bertrams are valued for providing true real world performance, durable strength and an unparalleled solid deep-V ride. In fact, the essential part of Bertram’s hull design is based upon this deep-V structure; and while many have emulated this design over the years, no one has ever matched the Bertram trim, balance and displacement of its notorious hull.

Ellie M is not ready for the restoration boys yet. Her Mercruiser heart is strong and she is structurally sound. She has great canvas and her upholstery is mostly good. What she needs is a massive cleaning up, and she is ready for the water. A good spit and polish person can have her back to looking new in short order, and with a good bit of work. Here is an opportunity for the right soul to sail on of America’s true classic boats for very little cash and a bit of sweat equity. I ran one of these classics in the 70’s and I can say that I have never forgotten the experience. Here is your chance to proudly own one of the original Richard Bertram classics.

This beauty will be sold, the owner will consider all reasonable offers. Do not let this opportunity slip by.
