- Detailed Walkthrough
- If your passions include boating and history, please consider this fully restored 1949 52' Chris Craft Conqueror Tri-Cabin Cruiser. Climb aboard Extasea and you will be transported back to a time when boating was truly a lifestyle. Over the last two years this beauty has been shown at antique and classic boat shows. Extasea is one of only 8 built with 3 Engines (210 hp), all recent rebuilds. This classic lady has undergone 8 years of major restoration. The bottom paint was burned off, and then primed and repainted. Hull was painted and refastened. The transom has been refinished. All exterior mahogany was stained, sealed and varnished. The bridge deck area and cabin roof was recanvassed. The vessel has a new folding top, all new carpeting throughout, and new upholstery on bridge deck area. Engines were removed, completely inspected, primed, painted and reinstalled. The bilge was recently sprayed with 15 gallons of Thompsons water seal to protect the wood. The boat has all new batteries and bilge pumps. Oil lamps have been converted to electric throughout the boat. All chrome is in good condition. Two spare engines are also included with this sale. Estimated replacement value is $650,000 and estimated fair market value as antique is $350,000. Owner is very proud of 2004 survey, a copy of which is available to interested parties.

- Broker's Remarks
- Extasea clearly defines the contrast between today's mass produced plastic boats and those created in a slower paced era when careful American craftsmanship and select timbers were dedicated to building yachts to serve an owner's family from generation to generation. A true investment opportunity, beautifully restored Chris Craft Conqueror's are rarely found and we are pleased to invite you aboard to become the next steward of this classic time-traveler.
